Baptism

So, I’m a baker. Not a sew-er. But every once in a while I get a “wild” hair and take on a task that I have no clue how will turn out.

My friend’s son was getting baptized. And I didn’t want to regret not getting him anything. And it’s not like I can run down to the nearest Deseret Book to pick something up. I guess I could go to a Christian Bookstore, but I’m not sure what I would find there for “baptism.” :)

I was running out of time.

Like, I had less than a day to come up with something.

So I took a risk.

Pulled out my Cricut.

Pulled out my sewing machine.

And got to work.

And this is what I came up with.

Not too shabby for having NO clue what I was doing. But I did it. And I loved it. And, really, it was easy peasy! :)
