Blessings and Goodbyes

 

Sunday was a special day for Parleigh. She was given and Name and a Blessing. We had family and friends come for this sacred ordinance. One phrase that was repeated during the blessing was that, “Parleigh, your parents love you and you will be taken care of.” I hope that I will be able to take good care of this sweet little girl, and that she will be worthy to return to her Father in Heaven.

It was also time for us to say goodbye to Mimi aka Pam. It has been so much fun having her here, we will really miss her! The children just adore her. Thanks for coming and helping out, Pam! It was just like old times!

 

2 weeks already?

 

Parleigh turns 2 weeks old today. Seriously? Where has the time gone? She is doing everything a 2 week old should do: Nursing, pooping, sleeping, and crying. I couldn’t be prouder! :)

It is nice how much she sleeps, although now that I have it in writing, I’m sure I’ve jinxed it. At night, we lay her down around 10pm, she then sleeps till at least 3am, then wakes up again around 6am, an then around 8am. Not bad, huh?

Parleigh is such a sweetheart. We love her to pieces!

Birthday Celebrations

3 days of celebrating, cause that’s how we Lineberry’s roll!

73 degrees and Sunny

What a gorgeous day we had yesterday! Ab-so-lute-ly gorgeous! {It was almost too warm!} We couldn’t let this day pass by without a trip to the beach, since this may be the only warm day we might have while my mom is here. There is a cute little park at the oceanfront that the kids love, and it’s nice to go and not worry too much about sand!

Thursday night Pam got here. The kids have been playing nonstop with “Mimi” and have been wearing her out!
