On Friday I am checking in for my Spa Retreat. The arrival time is pretty early, 5:30am, but I guess that’s what it takes to be pampered!
What luxuries do I get to experience? Let’s see, I’ll break it down for you.
Accommodations: I get my own private room, with a insuite bathroom. And a bidet.
Services offered:
- Shaving {not waxing} and it’s not an option.
- Leg massage {to help with circulation}
- Shot of “whisky” {always my favorite part! I just love the nasty, bitter liquid I have to drink in order for my stomach to “settle” so I don’t throw up!}
- Acupuncture {right in my spine}
- Relaxation room for an hour with warm blankets {because it’s always freezing right after surgery}
- Room service {constantly for at least 48 hours whether I want it or not}
- Breakfast in Bed {well, all food is served while I am in bed!}
- Constant refills on water {through an IV, of course!}
- All the ice chips and graham crackers that my heart desires
