ch-ch-ch-change!

Living in a small space, I find myself rearranging the house almost every week! At least one or two rooms get switched around. I wait for Ben to approve, then, like clockwork, I go about changing the room around again. Maybe it's not only living in a small space, but being a SAHM. I am always home. So, I get bored really fast of how the decorations look. I don't know if I will ever be satisfied. But, for now, I think I have finally made use of my front room and gotten it almost to where I like it {for now!}
I made Ben paint {which he very willingly did, btw. I know he loves me more than I give him credit for!} I also made him buy me a rug. {Which he went out during a huge thunderstorm/downpour before Lowe's closed one night so I would be able to get the room "perfect" before midnight!}

{my project that I have finally finished! I've had these blocks, unpainted, for a while, and I got them done tonight!}

Well, I suppose I should head to bed. Most likely, I'll get off the computer and finish folding laundry. It's so much easier to fold when the kids aren't trying to "help". Although it is midnight thirty, it would be nice to wake up to a clean house! :)

What can I say? My boys have sweet {dance} moves!

{and they don't get them from me!}

homemade

My friend, Jen, made this adorable shirt and headband for Paisley. Some people just amaze me with their talents!

Okay

You guys are probably getting sick of seeing Barry B. Benson on my blog, right? Admit it. Although, he IS one sharp looking bee. Our bee stings for the summer have spiked to an all time record high--6! I mean, come on! Give our family a break, will you?

I can't believe I am barely getting the kids in bed{at 9pm}. I have been feeling a little sluggish lately. I might be feeling sluggish, but time is just zooming by. I don't feel I have enough hours in a day to accomplish much.

So, yesterday, I was talking to my sister Penny on the phone while taking laundry out of the dryer. Most times when I am doing laundry, cleaning the house, and talking on the phone {all at the same time} the laundry gets piled on the couch until nap time when I can sit down when it's quiet and fold. Otherwise, I have to stop cleaning to fold, and I don't get the cleaning done before nap time. {the joy of multi-tasking!}
Anyway, to make a long story longer, Parker comes into the room and says, "Mom, look what I'm wearing." If you examine the picture closely, you will see that Parker is wearing Paisley's booty-hugging shorts. Yes, they are booty-hugging on Paisley, so I have NO idea how Parker fit into them.

If you notice the wall in the background...you will notice that it doesn't look like this:

That's right...we no longer have a red room in our house. More pictures soon--I need to get some more things done first! :)
