Sunday Flowers……this one’s for you, Mom!

Our flower gardens are in full bloom. Seeing them on this beautiful morning reminded me of my Mom. She had many flower books. Any time we went for a drive in the mountains she would stop and look at all the flowers. Taking pictures, and sometimes picking them to press in her flower book.

It’s been a fun filled 2 weeks. My sister will be leaving in a couple days, and I’m not ready for her to go! We have jam-packed each day…and I have stepped out of my comfort zone to do some spontaneous activities. For instance, seeing the moon rise over the ocean. Totally worth it. Amazing. And, if it wasn’t for her, my kids would have missed out and been fast asleep in their beds instead of out on the beach.
