I remember when there was a “rumor” that we would be getting a new ward building. And then, slowly, very slowly, we were approved land by the city. And then finally we had the groundbreaking. We were told we would be in the new building by Christmas, and then we were told not until February. Well, February is here, and so is our new building—ready for us to move in! It’s so surreal! Today was the open house, and the first time I’ve been inside. It is beau-ti-ful!
I guess I only took a couple pictures of where I’ll be spending most of my time: The Relief Society Room and the Mother’s lounge. Ha!
Awesome! It's really close to you guys, right? Looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHow fun. I hope there is a counter in the lounge!
ReplyDeleteHow Exciting!!! I'm envious of your nice and new chairs in the mother's room....our wards are from the 70's. LOL!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Loved seeing you there too! :) And LOVED your bread today for sacrament! ;)
ReplyDeleteThat's so exciting that you get a new building! It looks great.
