Sick

Last Friday Preston started feeling sick. He complained about his ears hurting, which none of my children EVER do, so I took him to the Doctor. He had an ear infection, and a virus, so I was glad I took him. Saturday evening, Paisley woke up from her afternoon nap with a fever, and threw up. Parker also started complaining about his throat hurting. 3 sick kids, not too bad. Then Sunday morning, both Donna and I woke up feeling sick. The virus was making it’s round through our entire family! {Ben was already sick with the same thing at the beginning of the week!}

So, what have we done all week? Watched a LOT of t.v., movies, and lounged around in our PJ’s. It’s been kind of nice, considering I am in the last leg of my pregnancy. {Only two more weeks!}

Everyone is feeling better, except for Miss Paisley. She’s had a fever on and off since Saturday, and today, when I took her temperature, it was around 103 degrees. I got her into the Doctor, and thank goodness, it’s just a virus that is running it’s course, and I just need to give her fluids and Motrin. She’s literally just laid on the couch all day, watching t.v. not moving very much. She looks so miserable! And, I had to document that she fell asleep on the couch, another thing that my children never do! {They are complete “I go to sleep only in my bed/crib” type of children.

I hope they start feeling better before Baby #4 makes her grand appearance.
