Bikes

The kids got bikes for Christmas from their Auntie Ester. They were super excited to test them out…..unfortunately we received record amounts of snowfall Christmas weekend, that they had to settle for riding their bikes around the house. {Thanks, Mamaw, for being patient and letting the boys test drive their bikes on your living room and kitchen floors…and for the countless black marks on your linoleum, cabinets, and refrigerator!}

The weather was in the 60’s yesterday, the snow melted, and we brought the boys back out to Mamaw and Papaw’s house so they could ride on their long driveway. It was a blast! At first we didn’t have helmets on the boys boys, and within 5 minutes, Parker fell face first and scraped his nose. Granted, I don’t know if a helmet would have saved his face in this case, but we did put helmets on them like we were supposed to! Parker’s poor face—thank goodness he didn’t knock any teeth out. {Since he does have permanent teeth in now!}

  4. Poor little Parker. We love that guy so much. It was painful watching him take that spill. I am so glad that it was not any worse than it was.

    OOXX,

  5. Awesome pics! The kids are so cute especially Paisley kissing Parkers ouchie. He looks so proud of himself in the other pics showing off his scars, temporary though they may be.
