That’s How We Roll: Day 10

Spring break is in full swing around here. The kids have been playing with friends and going non-stop.

What did we do today? What else would we do in April in Virginia Beach?

Head to the beach! Heck yes!

Ah Yeah! That’s how we roll!

Paisley threw the biggest tantrum this morning. She did NOT want to wear her brand new super cute swimsuit. We ended up with this outfit. Then it was too much, so she ended up taking her top off. I guess that’s okay??? :)

Yes, the water was chiiiilllly! But that didn’t stop the kids from playing in the water! The waves were perfect today.

My friend, Sherrie’s son. Easton. Isn’t he a cutie? He’s Preston’s age. And Preston thinks he’s a pretty cool kid!

Cute little Lily. She is such a sweetheart. She came over and played with Paisley yesterday. She didn’t talk much, but I think she had a fun time with Pais. And I found out she loves Go Gurt! :)

They told Parleigh to say, “Cheese.” She is way too cute!

There was a TON of see weed, coral, anemone, and other sea creatures {that I have no clue what they were!} The boys were loving it!

They enjoyed rolling in the sand. What is it about sand? I can’t stand it!  It gets in EVERY single crevice. And I didn’t mind because there were showers. Unfortunately…the water isn’t turned on yet. But I found that out after the fact. I ended up having to splash freezing cold water on the boys in hopes of getting the majority of the sand off. To much avail, we went home pretty sandy! I guess that's what happens when we go to the beach! Right?

When you gotta go….you gotta go! :)


This evening all 3 of my kids said, “This was the best day ever!” Know what I told them? That’s how I roll! ;)
