Because I might give the impression that my life consists of lying around, watching TV, and eating bonbons, I decided once and for all to set the records straight.
Okay, okay. I don’t think anyone has ever implied that I sit around and eat bonbons all day. Although, I wish I could. Depending on what bonbons actually ARE. I don’t think that I even KNOW what they are?!?! Chocolate? And, I do watch TV as I am cleaning up cereal off the floor or scouring the tub for the millionth time because once again, Parleigh has pooped in the tub! I can tell you ALL the latest episodes of WordGirl, Wild Kratts, Super Why, and Sesame Street. And, the second I sit down at dinner time, I have to shovel the food into my mouth and get up and start moving, because once I sit still for too long, I might not get up. And then I am DONE for the night.
So, I decide to start a series for the month of April. Entitled That’s How We Roll. Just to show you what happens in our household each and every day. A glimpse into our lives. Just a little peak, you know, so you can see how we roll!
And I’m starting today. I promise, this is no joke. No April Fools. No funny ha ha. The real deal-e-o. Cause why?
That’s how we roll.
Duh!
Day one.
Parleigh Ann. Just over 13 months old. She is as smart as a whip. And she knows it. Her favorite thing to do? Steal the toothpaste from the top drawer in the bathroom. It drives.me.crazy! If the bathroom door is left open, sure enough---she is in there searching with her little hand in that drawer, finding the toothpaste. Every time. If the house is eerliy quiet, and I’m not sure where Parleigh went. Guess where she’s at? Yep, the bathroom. When I catch her, depending on where she’s at, she does two things. If she’s in the bathroom, she’ll throw the toothpaste back into the drawer, waddle to the front of the drawer, and slam it shut. If she’s somewhere else in the house, she’ll turn around and run pell-mell away from me hoping I can’t catch her. The little pill!
Don’t ask me~-that’s just how she rolls!
Two things. Yes, she needs a hair cut. It’s out of control. Or at least a hair clip. That would suffice. And, poor thing, she has allergies. Along with 90% of the population in Hampton Roads. It’s terrible! This pollen and stuff in the air is killing me/us!
Love it! That girl knows where the good stuff is at! It's colorful, sweet, and in a tube! She's no fool! ;) Love it! Can't wait to see how you roll the rest of the month. Even though I pretty much know! ;)
ReplyDeleteOur babies must be twinners Kynzie LOVES the toothpaste and takes off with it and anybodies toothbrush she can get her hands on. She to is in need of a clip or hair cut too! And the color of their hair is close to the same!! CRAZY what a cutie you have!
