Ryan’s blushing bride, Sam, is a super-sweet girl. She is a wonderful addition to our family! Not only is she super-sweet, but she is absolutely beautiful!
Sam asked me if I could help out with the dessert bar. Of course I told her I would, thus ensued the stressfulness of baking in a different climate, 2 hours away from the reception site, and not being able to sample the cupcakes to know if they were good or not. I had to completely take everyone’s word for it. In the end, they turned out super cute, some kind of dry, the frosting melting on some, but beautiful on display. {If I should say so myself!}
The flavors:
White cake with strawberry cream filling with buttercream frosting and sprinkles.
Coconut lime cake, with coconut lime buttercream/cream cheese frosting topped with toasted coconut.
Pinacolada cupcake with drizzled with pineapple syrup with a pineapple buttercream frosting topped with fresh pineapple. {this was the best, at least it smelled the best! :)}
Maura made strawberry cream cake balls, which EVERYONE loved! They were a hit! And, we had some brownie bites topped with buttercream frosting. Yum!
{For food, they had a Taco Cart---these two guys made all the tacos. They were AWESOME! I went back for seconds! I figured since I couldn’t eat dessert, I might as well eat a bunch of tacos! I ended up eating 8!}
Congrats, Ryan and Sam! I’m glad we could celebrate with you!
what a great reception. Looks like you guys had so much fun. What a beautiful couple
