Daddy got a citation!!

And, yes, that’s a GOOD thing! :)
When I think of a citation, I think of a ticket.  {and to make sure I wasn’t making things up, I just googled it!}
ci·ta·tion
noun /sīˈtāSHən/
citations, plural
  1. A quotation from or reference to a book, paper, or author, esp. in a scholarly work
    • - there were dozens of citations from the works of Byron
    • - recognition through citation is one of the principal rewards in science
  2. A mention of a praiseworthy act or achievement in an official report, esp. that of a member of the armed forces in wartime
    • A note accompanying an award, describing the reasons for it
      • - the Nobel citation noted that his discovery would be useful for energy conversion technology
    • A reference to a former tried case, used as guidance in the trying of comparable cases or in support of an argument
      • A summons
        • - a traffic citation
See, number 5? A traffic citation. That's what comes to mind, every time! But, in Ben’s case, he has what is referred to in number 2. Or is it number 3? Oh well. You be the judge.
Whatever the case, since I am obviously rambling on…..
Ben and his father went flounder fishing on Saturday. Just so you know, flounder is my FAVORITE! As much as I hate can’t stand put up willingly let my husband go fishing, I really don’t mind him going flounder fishing. It’s a flakey white fish. Super yummy!
Anyway, they went flounder fishing yada yada yada {if you want details you can ask him} and he caught a citation flounder, which is a BIG one. {Meaning not necessarily record breaking, but one that is not a normal size! Meaning, LARGE!} It’s the largest one he’s ever caught, and only a few ounces away from the largest one his father’s ever caught! He was super excited. I was super excited. Especially when they filleted it, and fried it up for dinner. It fed 10 adults and 4 children, and there was some left over!
“Give a man a fish it will feed him for a day….teach a man to fish……”

      It’s bigger than Parleigh!!!
