extras

Here are the last random pictures from my trip. In no particular order. Actually, I think they are in reverse order. But, that’s fine, right?

{Parleigh eating her toes, waiting at the airport in Detroit waiting to get on the last leg of our flight coming home. She did amazing, by the way. Both ways. Both layovers. I’m super blessed, I know.}

IMG_7639{Sweet little tired baby! I love her so much!}

{Carne asada burrito. YUMMO! I ate it twice. And loved it both times!}
IMG_7717{Grandma Fe and Parleigh. They both adore each other!}
IMG_7742{Cute picture, Pam. I like your shadow. Just kidding. I know that’s not your shadow. But it makes me laugh every time!}

{Me and my baby girl. Love her!}
IMG_7749{Hanging out with cousins. May the dragon protect you!}
IMG_7759{Oh Mom, was it really THAT funny? Yeah, maybe it was!}
IMG_7788{I almost think Uncle Matt had the most fun holding Parleigh. No joke!}
Alright. So, here is the step by step process of making the pom poms. That took 5 hours? Right, Peggy? 9 people, 5 hours? Or was it longer? It felt long. All I know is we worked all day doing it. It was fun!
Step 1. Dye water desired color. In our case. PINK!
IMG_7473
Step 2. Place coffee filters in dyed water.

Step 3. Squeeze out excess water from coffee filter.
IMG_7482
Step 4. Drop coffee filter ball into empty bucket.
IMG_7494
Step 5. Unwrap coffee filter ball and lay on rim of bucket.
IMG_7490IMG_7478
Step 6. Take coffee filter and hang on line to dry.

Step 7,8,9,10. Take dry coffee filter off line. Fold each coffee filter into 4ths. Take 16 coffee filters, alternating pink/and white and thread onto a string.

Make enough to decorate for the reception to be held 3 days later.
Step 11. Sit back and enjoy your dinner underneath a string of pom poms. {They did turn out pretty, didn’t they?}

{Miss Lindsay Lou. She is seriously baby hungry. Either having Parleigh around helped the situation, or not. I’m not sure. But either way, is was a lot of fun hanging out with her and getting to know her husband more. You guys should come visit Virginia!}
IMG_7100{The yummy food we had after the wedding. Thank you Peggy and Russ. It was DELISH!}
