I feel like I blog about the same thing over and over again. Oh well, I guess that is what my life is like, semi-boring. We do the same thing everyday. Some times we mix it up a bit. But, we are on a schedule and I like it. The boys know what to expect next, and I even think Paisley can sense if we do something out of the norm.
So to mix things up a bit, on Thursday, Ben took Parker to the woods to cut some trails for deer hunting. I decided to take the other two kids out and about. I can't believe I EVER complained about it being hard with 2 kids. It was a piece of {cup}cake! (Let along complaining about one kid!) I guess it's all in what you know!
Here are my cute kiddos, all ready to go shopping! :)
Preston insisted on wearing this hat to the store, because his big brother was wearing one! (But that was because Parker was going in the woods! Errrg!)
Anyway, I went to my favorite place in Virginia, the scrapbooking store of course, silly!Scrapbooking stores are hard to come by around here, so I had to drive to Chesapeake, which really isn't too far! :) They have a train table, so Preston was completely occupied the entire time! It was GREAT! I discovered the coolest thing: Stickles! I think I'm addicted! :)
This is the first page that I've done for Miss Paisley.
I never thought I would say it, but it is really hard to go from doing "boyish" pages, to doing "girly" pages. I was so excited to have a girl so I could do her scrapbook (that's not the only reason I wanted a girl!) , but it is becoming harder than I thought! :)
No, you are NOT boring! I LOVE reading your blog, I am sortof looking forward to having more than two, some day, and no, it's not soon! :)
ReplyDeleteSecond, I think Paisley's pages are adorable!!! I like it with the blue and brown AND pink. :)
Thirdly (is that a word?) I am SO impressed your kiddos stayed at the train table to play while you shopped. you must be doing SOMETHING right! :) HAve a great day!
HOw do you find time to scrapbook? Everytime I attempt to scrapbook the girls think they have to do it too. It is a nightmare! Anyways, your kids are adorable,I can't believe Paisley's hair. I love seeing pictures and reading about your life. I love it!
ReplyDeleteHey, guess what? I sort of finished Matthew's 1st year scrapbook. I still have a few pictures to put in it, but, all of the journaling is done, and for me, that is the hardest part.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I do think her outfit is cute. Which reminds me, I need to send that other outfit on to you, eventhough it is a 12 month. Or maybe I should wait until you come out here...hint, hint, hint.
Cute scrapbook page! You'll do great learning the "girly stuff". But for some reason, doing boy pages was a ton easier for me too! I guess we want the girl pages to be so perfect and feminine! ;) Oh, and you can tell Ben he can come hunt squirrels at my house any time! :) ha ha!
ReplyDeleteyou know i'm with you on this one ... i'm all about boring routine. Most of the time it's very comforting and kids thrive on it! Hope to meet little Paisley sometime soon ... but probably not until June!! She'll be so big!!
