Minnie Mouse Cupcakes

I was referred by a friend to make cupcakes for a sweet little girl’s birthday. She wanted Minnie Mouse cupcakes, and my first reaction was “How the heck am I going to pull this off?” I knew I was going to have to work with fondant, something I’ve never done before, and I had just a couple of weeks to get it right!

Leave it to me to wait till the last minute! I didn’t realize that those bows needed to dry out a bit! Otherwise they would collapse!!

I’m so glad they turned out! I think they are pretty stinkin cute! 48 ears. 24 bows. White cake. Chocolate cake. And a whole lot of cuteness! ♥
