I hope we aren’t the only ones who took full advantage of National Talk Like a Pirate Day. My sister {she’s way cooler than me!!} called me up and told me that Krispy Kreme was giving away free donuts if you went in and “talked like a pirate.” You also got a dozen donuts if you dressed like a pirate! Apparently, we weren’t pirate-y enough…but we sure did have fun! And the kids enjoyed their free donut!

Maybe Ben SHOULD have put on his pirate costume, then you all would have been eating the dozen. Cute pirates, and I'm sure they had fun.
