Color Run ♥

I’ve been looking forward to this race for quite a few months! There was a group of us girls that signed up---but when it came down to it, only Robin and I were able to make it! And boy was it FUN!!

There are only 2 rules to The Color Run: 1. Wear a white shirt. 2. Be color plastered at the finish!

I think I can handle that!

The race isn’t timed. Some people walked. Some people jogged. But mostly, everyone had fun! It is the “Happiest 5k on the planet!”

At one point I did say, “Man, this is a happy race!!”

Pre race: Squeaky clean!!

 

It was literally a sea of white shirts! And a bunch of tutus. Even boys/grown men were wearing white tutus!

In our packets we got our own personal bag of color. {We saved ours til the end!}

After our first splash of color…yellow!!

Then there was pink. Then we came up to the color blue. {This is when I got a little over zealous!}

And then we came to the orange. And Robin got a teeny  bit over zealous!!

Everyone congregated around the stage where we had a color festival. We counted down and then threw our packets of color:

Annndd we got really messy!

Everyone dusted with color!

We are a mess…but our teeth sure are white!!

We were starving…so we found Tropical Smoothie Café and pigged out ate  some food. Come on, we like just ran walked 3 miles, we burned a TON of calories, right? Right?

Other customers kept staring at us, asking us questions, and so forth. I think the most hilarious comment was from someone who said, “It looks like you rolled around in a mud pit.” Thanks…thanks a lot!

It was such a blast! The only thing that would have made it better is if we had our other “soul sisters” with us to share in the fun! We really missed them! Next time! Definitely next time!
