Christmas {Ward} Dinner

Holy moly! What a day. I keep thinking at some point I’m going to find a routine, but I am coming to a realization that this is our routine! And, for the most part, I like it! Gone are the days of taking naps every day. {Man, that was so nice!} Gone are the days of having a clean house all day. Gone are the days of not having anything to do. But, that’s fine by me. I was straightening up the other morning, and I had a flash back of whan Parker crawling around on the floor as I was cleaning. And I am so thankful that I have more kids. I remember how boring it was every day. It was too easy. And I love a challenge!
A challenge, as in, forget about running 5k’s, I wanna run a 1/2 marathon! Crazy, right? But, you know, that would be really cool! Even though I hate to run! A challenge as in, why bring a tried and true recipe to a ward potluck. Shoot, let’s make something completely different, and make sure it has butter in it so I don’t have a clue if it’s edible or not!
I’m crazy. I know. You don’t need to remind me.
Waiting in line to see Santa. I love how Preston has his arm around Paisley.

You know Parleigh is too cute for words! This {almost} 10 month old had her 9 month checkup today. She is 19 lbs 14 ounces and 28 inches long. And, according to her Doctor, she

1. Was wearing the cutest bow he’s seen all week.

2. Is advanced. {But that shouldn’t come as a surprise.} She is already saying Da Da and Ma Ma.

3. Is absolutely perfect and that I shouldn’t change anything.

How can I not love my Doctor?
How can you not love Parleigh? She’s so stinkin cute!

Um! I just want to squeeze those cheeks!
The kids were so excited that Santa showed up!

Paisley didn’t know what to think. And, I don’t blame her. When else would we allow our children to sit on some random guys’ lap so we could take pictures, right? But, she didn’t cry, or scream….or talk. But that’s okay!
I love this time of year, don’t you?

  2. If you are interested...Russ will be doing a grueling half marathon next summer...I think you should do it with him. It's called the Spartan Beast and will be in Midvale, Ut...You should think about it. I'll even come to cheer you on.
