Today was so much fun! It was such a blast celebrating Paisley turning THREE!
As a recap, here is her first day in the world, her first birthday {with swine flu!}, and her second birthday {don’t ask me why the pictures are all blurry! oops!}.
Paisley invited 3 of her friends over {as a rule, they can invite one friend per year: 2nd birthday—2 friends. 3rd birthday—3 friends. 4th birthday—4 friends. At least I try to do it that way!} She invited 2 girls that are Parker’s age, and one little girl her age.
Like I mentioned before, Pais wanted to have a Pink Elephant Birthday Party. She wouldn’t budge, either. Not even when we went to Party City and saw all the pre-planned/pre-packaged Princess/Hello Kitty/Dora the Explorer/You name it, they have it….. BUT not pink elephant! So, I had to wiggle my nose and break out my magic wand to pull off this party. I was so thankful that they had {pink elephant} fabric when I went to pick out fabric for the buntings. {YEAH!!!} What are the odds?
The {games}:
Pin the Bow on the {PINK} Elephant. Musical {PINK} Elephant Squares. Hot {PINK} Elephant. And don’t let the PINK balloons touch the ground. Hey, it works, right? This IS a 3 year old’s birthday. Remember?
I really think Paisley’s favorite part was hanging out with other girls!!!
Robin took control of my camera and took all the pictures! Which means she wasn’t in very many of them! Thanks, Robin! You rock!
Birthday Cake and Present TIME!!!
I made a "mini” cake, just for Paisley. I made it….but Ben decorated it. I stick to cupcakes…takes WAY less patience, in my opinion! And, plus, he’s watched his mother for YEARS making amazing cakes!
I’m pretty sure Ada’s in a sugar coma! This girl loves her some sweets! {And I don’t blame her!}
Once all the party guests left, Paisley tried on one of her “comfy” new outfits. So stinkin cute!
Happy Birthday, Miss Paisley. I love you to pieces!
Very cute!!!!!! So sad we missed it :(
ReplyDeleteSo much fun...can I just say, HOLY COW!!! What are you going to do when she turns 16? Chad says it looks even better than his open house. You amaze me little sis, simply amaze me.
