With 4 children, I feel like I am always cleaning, and never accomplishing anything! The more I clean, the messier it gets. I swear!
I spent most of today cleaning. I haven’t stopped yet. And I am NO WHERE close to being finished. But, I purged the boys’ room. And my room. And I feel so.much.better!
My sister Beth never believes me that any room in my house could be messy. Well, today is your lucky day, Beth.
Exhibit A
But, as Beth pointed out, even if it is ever messy, it won’t be like that for long. Which takes us to
Exhibit B
Ahhhhhh……much better! At least I can feel somewhat accomplished for the day. And about the purging? I told Preston any toy he wanted to keep needs to fit in the blue tote…….all the others we will get rid of! Ahhhhhh….much better!
{Disclaimer: All “before” pictures are a result of having church at 1:00 and not cleaning up before OR after! See what I have to deal with? It’s like a tornado comes through our house every.single.Sunday!}
Any of those toys good for a nursery? WE are going to try to collect new toys for when we are in our new building for the nursery. We want dolls, cars, books, and something else....I can't remember. There were like 4 main things. Aren't we lucky to have kids who like to make messes so we get rid of things? I do that too. Nice job. I love to have the before and afters....I just wish the afters would last longer! Debi
ReplyDeleteYou are my hero. You're human. And you just proved that I'm not the only one. LOL! We have 1 pm church, too...and despite many efforts of picking up/putting away, it never ceases to amaze me how quickly our apartment can look like a tornado ripped through in seconds. :)
ReplyDeleteYou rock. Your mad mothering skilz rock, too. ♥ (Check your email.) :)
Now come purge my house! ;)
