Each year, pending Ben working, we drive 6 hours to Elk Creek, VA for the annual Lineberry family Reunion. Ben’s grandfather, Claston, had 9? brothers? I’m not sure, but I do know he had a lot. That makes for a ton of relatives to visit with and get to know. I think 80 people attended this year! It was a lot of fun! The boys had a blast running around playing with cousins, exploring the creek, petting the horses, riding in the golf cart, and eating a ton of desserts. The weather turned out perfect and we really enjoyed our time! It’s such a short trip---we drove up there Friday and came home on Sunday. We even took the time to go on a hike along the New River trail.

And now for the pictures. Please note that there are a ton, and half of the people I don’t know their names. But in some way or another, they are related to us!

The kids loved the horses. They aren’t broken in, but they are gentle nonetheless. Ben ran to the apple tree and picked some apples to feed them. Then he decided to feed them out of his mouth??? Seriously? It.was.hilarious! {I am aware of the large amount of “horse feeding” pictures, but I thought you would like a step by step of the whole ordeal! HA!}
If you made it this far, thank you for joining us on our journey! {I know, I know, that was a TON of pictures!}
