Raise your hand

if you had to wait in line for 1 and 1/2 hours to vote today! (Ooo...pick me! Pick me!) 90 minutes...in line! A pregnant woman, waiting in line for 90 minutes. Okay, it wasn't that bad. It could have been worse, like 8 hours. Can you believe people waited in line that long in Chesapeake? They needed to have vendors selling food! Hot dogs? Popcorn? Bottled water anyone?
This is SO not Bancroft, Idaho! Has there EVER been a line there? Humm...

Anyway, other news of importance? Baby girl is sitting on my bladder! Every time I stand up, there she is, making me rush to the restroom only to find that I really don't have to pee! I guess I can handle it...just a little bit over a week to go. Kinda scary that I could actually go into labor at any time now!

Mom called me yesterday! (Yes, I am going to gloat!) I was telling her that I couldn't believe that the last time she was here, Parker was the same age as Preston is right now! I thought Parker was such a big boy. But...looking back on pictures, he was still a little baby! Here are my two babies....
And now, I will have THREE! (I think I keep repeating myself!) And, Mom, I really do wish you were here! I miss sharing this special time with you.

  1. What a wonderful thing - to be able to visit with your mom! How is she, anyways?

My mom said she was the first to vote in Bancroft - there was no line. Kinda sad. Even in Idaho Falls, I walked right in! Your boys are getting so big! They are adorable!

  2. Hey Kate,
I've tried to call a few times. I can't believe that Parker needs surgery! I feel so bad for him. I hope things go well with the delivery. I wish I could be there. Maybe Thanksgiving? I have been thinking about you guys.
Oh, I was only 1 hour. I got there at 6:40. Three machines were down so it took a little longer. We have a school levy we're trying to get passed so I hope it went our way.
    Take care. Love, Peggy

  3. Those were really cute pictures. Parker looks a lot like Preston when he was younger! It's amazing how their faces thin out and change as they get bigger. Very cute pics. Yep, soon you'll be a mother of 3! And you and Ben will be outnumbered! :) Fun times! You'll do great!

  4. Hey, guess what, I didn't get to vote, I was going to run over to the school while Benjamin was in preschool, but he was up the whole night puking, so I kept him home and just watched as the rain, then snow, then rain, then snow, then sun came out. When Chad got home, I was feeling kind of sick, so I did not feel like going out, or getting anyone else exposed to whatever I may have had, so I did not get to exercise my voting right. Oh well, I think I had a pretty good reason. And yea, just one week left!!!
