People have asked me if he is talking yet. Well, that is a yes and a no. His vocabulary is getting bigger...but here is what it consists of:
Me: Preston, what does a puppy dog say?
Preston: Woof, woof
Me: What does a duck say?
Preston: Quack, quack (and it really sounds like a duck, too!)
Me: What does a airplane say?
Preston: shhhoooorrrrsshhh (Or however an airplane sounds)
Me: What does a cow say?
Preston: oommmm (Moo backwards)
Me: What does a firetruck say?
Preston: (makes firetruck sound)
Me: Say "Fish"
Preston: Ish
Me: What does a chicken say?
Preston: Bock, bock
Me: Say Papaw
Preston: Pa
Me: Say Daddy
Preston: Da
And, he will do the sign language for "more," "drink," and "help."
Pretty much, I am relaying this to you, so I can have it written down somewhere. I keep forgetting, (I wonder why) and with everything going on, at least you and I will benefit from my ravings! :)
Isn't it bitter sweet? When your baby is a baby and it seems like the next day they are grown up. I want to wish you good luck with the new baby and C-section. I hope it all goes well and that it turns out a girl!! J/k my cousin just had a baby and was told girl the entire time then the day she had it there was no girl parts!! It was a boy.It also is her first so she had lots of girl clothes and no boy clothes what so ever, what a fun suprise!!! I am excited for you and we will have your family in our prayers!! Good Luck!!
ReplyDeleteWOW! Good luck this week. I can't wait to see pictures of your beautiful baby girl.
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing how "old" your previous child seems after you have a new one. Parker will do well. Ashton struggled when Lily was born, but they do adjust and get over it, just make sure he still get mommy time and he'll be good! :) 48 hours girl and you'll have a baby girl! Can't believe it! and yes, I'm not as stressed, about stuff, except that darn fireside! :)
