little April showers. {something something something dee dee dee dumm dumm.} Apparently I don’t know the rest of that song from Bambi. Oh well. I bet you don’t either!
We had a rain storm last week, with the threat of tornados. But, the rain cleared out faster than expected, the storm headed out to sea, and we headed outside to play.
Some of the flowers that are in bloom. I love this time of year. {Minus all the pollen!}
Ben bought both the boys airplanes earlier that afternoon. It’s amazing how super-cool a $6 toy can be!
Well, it’s cool until Dad throws it and it lands up on the roof.
But, have no fear!
And while he’s up on the roof, why not clear out the gutters?
Some pretty disgusting stuff came out……Paisley agreed!
Speaking of Paisley, she is LOVING her summer dresses. I think she danced in the yard for an hour straight! No joke! {I remember twirling around when I was little, too!}
Moral of the story?
Impromptu airplane flying competition/dancing in the front yard sure beats sticking to the schedule of having the kids in bed by 8pm!
I LOVE Paisley's dress! It is so cute! Love the pattern...I wish those patterns were available when we were little, huh?
ReplyDeleteThat airplane is super cool, too! What fun! I'm glad the tornadoes spared you guys. I was worried when I heard they were headed your way possibly. Stay safe, and keep having fun! :)
Mimi
I will have that song stuck in my head all day long now. LOL!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the pictures!!! You are amazing!!! What kind of Camera do you have? Doesn't really matter, because you clearly have some mad skills. :)
So glad you weren't caught in the tornadoes, too!
Ben is such a goof ball........I love to see him playing with the children. Your pictures are great...keep up the good work.

Curse you, Kate! I have that stupid Bambi song in my head now. And, no, I can't remember the rest of the words either!
