Me: Preston, are you excited for Mamaw and Papaw to watch you tonight?
Preston: Where are you going?
Me: Daddy and Mommy are going on a date.
Preston: Are you going to the woods?
Me: What? Are we going on a date to the woods?
Preston: {while nodding his head up and down} I've never been on a date to the woods.
Me: You haven't?
Preston: Nu uh. I could tip toe really quiet so the deer won't bite me.
Me: Deer don't bite, Preston!
Preston: Uhh huhh! I want you to stay home with Paisley so Dad and Parker and Preston can go on a date to the woods.
.....wait a minute here. Something is wrong with this conversation!
So, what did we end up doing? Running to Wal-mart for some groceries, and falling asleep on the couch by 9:30. Lame! :)
