Sometimes life happens, and I forget about little things that go on. I then look back and realized I left some things out. Not too many things; I try to post the daily happenings in our little family {at least the ones I take pictures of.} Here are some of the leftovers from the last couple of months.
First up. Not a leftover by any means! Parker was chosen as Student of the Month for September. Great job, buddy! Paisley didn’t have school that day, and I got Preston out of class. Parker shared his “treat” with them, and then they all lost interest really fast waiting on Parker to get his certificate! :)
The day after Ben’s birthday, Parleigh woke up with a bump on her bottom. She didn’t want to lay down, change her diaper, or let me even touch her bottom…my “mom’s intuition” told me it was MRSA again. Before it would get worse, I decided to take her into the doctor. We were told {just like last time} to go to the Children’s Hospital’s ER, and then we would need to have it lanced and drained by a children’s surgeon. After 5 hours in the ER, we were told it wasn’t “far enough along” and she was given antibiotics and told to let it take it’s course. From Wednesday to Sunday afternoon, this is what Parleigh did. {With a whole lot of sleeping, crying, and high fevers. Poor thing!}
About a month ago my friend wanted me to make her some cupcakes for her anniversary. York Peppermint Patty brownie cupcakes, and Reeces PB cupcakes. Yum!
Some of Parker’s schoolwork. It made me chuckle!
We finally set up the fire pit I got Ben for Father’s Day. We roasted marshmallows and read scriptures in the firelight.
Right before school started, Paisely and her friend Lily went and got their hair cut. The same style. So stinkin cute!
When Emily and Cailyn were here this summer, they were invited on a date with Aunt Ester. They went to Target and Jason’s Deli. Stayed up watching movies. Wore matching PJ’s. And woke up and went to Krispy Kreme for donuts! Fun!
We love going to Jason’s Deli. The kids practically fill themselves up with mini corn muffins, mini gingerbread muffins, and ice cream. No shame in that, right?
We love it when Mamaw and Papaw come to visit!
Our neighbor’s dog had puppies. They were SO cute! The kids loved playing with them before they sold them all!
Oh how we miss summer! And I don’t know why I never posted these pictures. We went to Heather’s house to swim while Alicia and the kids were here. My kids sure do miss their Utah cousins! Hopefully they’ll come visit us soon!
how fun!!!! Except for the MRSA. :( boo for being sick. :(
