Back to the baby shower. The theme was She's About to Pop!! Because, literally, Debi is about to pop. {We are hoping she keeps that baby in for at least 10 more days until her husband gets home from deployment!} I wanted to go with more non-traditional colors. You know, not use green and blue or yellow. For some reason, I am loving the color combination of light blue and red. And, as the shower started coming together, I am so happy that we chose those colors. It was too much fun!

Thank you, Robin, for putting up with my crazy/obsessiveness! You can admit it, I can be a bit of both at times! And for allowing me to be a little bit "out of control." It was SO much fun. And thanks, Debi, for letting us use you as an excuse to have a party! :)
you are too cute!!! LOVE the whole theme and display!!! FABULOUS!
ReplyDeleteKate, can I just say that you are amazing? I mean, you should seriously go into business throwing small parties like this! Love, the colors, and all the small details that make your house look so awesome! I'm sure all the women had a great time, too! Debi is lucky to have a friend like you ;)
ReplyDeleteOn a side note, that's not where I pictured the tv to be, I guess I pictured it on the same wall as it used to be. NOW the pictures from yesterday make much more sense! It looks really nice in there, and it is weird to have the loveseat over on that wall, but it works really well! I like when couches form a right angle, and aren't facing eachother. Makes you feel more like chatting. Actually, that room looks bigger arranged that way!
Anyways, seriously. Great job, as usual, on the party. I know how you get, totally ocd, but you always pull it together and have such a sense of accomplishment after. :P
