I cannot believe my baby is 1. He is growing up so fast. For his party, I went with a car/truck theme. I made the decorations, and had a blast making sure everything was homemade. Preston's Mamaw made a little birthday cake for "just him" and I made cupcakes for everyone else. I was so excited to get the recipe for the cupcakes. Thank you, Shay and Shay's Mom! :) When I was in elementry school, whenever it was Shay's birthday, or class party, Shay's mom would bring in the BEST cupcakes EVER! I guess it never occured to me that they like twinkies. Only better, because they are homemade! But that is what they are, Homemade Twinkies. Yummy!
I think that the pictures show how much fun we had. I don't think that I could say it any better. (Thank you, Matt! You did an awesome job!)
Looks like you had a fun time, do you want to come out and help me with Matthew's party? How about a recipe exchange?
ReplyDeleteSo cute!!! By the time my kids' birthdays and husband's rolls around, I'm wiped out of shopping, celebrating, etc, etc, etc. Guess we should have thought through the december birthday thing better!!!

Nice to have a pro photog in the family, huh? the boys look adorable ... it was wonderful to see them today, and YOU TOO!
