Happy May Day!

I was reading Beth's blog earlier, and I had to smile. I CANNOT believe they have that much snow there on the 1st of May! One of the many reasons why I am happy to live here in Virginia Beach! :)
This morning I went to our book club meeting. Only, I didn't read the book! It was fun to get away and have some adult conversation, and maybe when I do get the time to read it, I will have some more insight into it! (I did, however, watch the A&E version, and throughly enjoyed it.) Our next book is Jane Eyre, and I am really excited to read it again. I haven't read it since high school. And, I promise, I will actually read this one!

I got my swimsuit in the mail today. I am so excited. I love Shade Clothing, and I think the swimsuit is pretty cute! Eek, swimsuit season!! Not sure if I am ready!
After naps, I told Parker we could go outside and eat ice pops. So, this is how we spent our 1st day of May in Virginia:
Ben couldn't believe when he came home and saw two boys in diapers on the from lawn. Oh well, they were having fun!

  1. ok, so for the record, when I watched the boys today, and they wanted to go outside, I decided to dress them first, just so I could say that I dressed them and you didn't! It was fun watching them! Have a great week up in the mountains. I'm gonna miss you. I can't believe you're going to be gone when I don't even have school!!! :(

    Love ya,
    Pam

  2. I love your blog. The pics are cute. I so wish I could go outside in a diaper and eat an ice pop. I guess I will just have to keep that one in my dreams! Ha ha. Have a great one. Debi

  3. Sad thing is that the snow melted by noon...or maybe that's a good thing. It was kind of pretty to see green grass poking through the snow. By the way, my boys had pop ice also. I just have to wash their clothes afterwards!

  4. We had rainy weather here in London. It was kind of cold, too, walking in the rain.
Kate, I am so glad that you are posting this blog. It means that I can see my babies growing up. It is really amazing. London is far away, but not so far with e-mail and blogs.
    My babies are beautiful.
    Love,Mom
